Ello, lovelies!

Welcome to my first book review for 2024! I will keep it short and sweet, don't worry.

I decided to give this series a try after seeing a lot of great reviews about book 3 in the series, 'Things We Left Behind' but I couldn't hop in at the end, so I picked up book 1 on my Kindle and dove right in.

I loved this book from the beginning. The characters are great and it is a well-paced book with a lot of twists and turns. There is no middle line with this book.

Either you love Knox or you hate him.

Noami is a strong MC, too stubborn for her own good and her heart is just too big which is her weakness.

I loved Noami and Knox's development, even when I wanted to slap some sense into them (which was probably the point).

I adored Nash, Waylay, and Lina. Stef was 100% one of my favourites (Naomi's best friend).

Lucian and Sloane... I can't wait to get more on them in book 3!

I hated Tina, which was also the point. I did feel a bit sorry for her at times but she quickly erased that sympathy with her next moves as they came up.

Overall, I love the way the book ended.
