Hello, Everyone!

I know it's been a while... Well, more than a while. It's been about a year!

Last year a lot happened and I didn't quite know how to manage everything. Between buying a business with my hubby and trying to manage that, mommyhood to a toddler and pre-teen, and general life, I didn't do much writing or reading in general.

But this year is different! I know a bit more about managing the shop and workload and I finally finished draft 2 of my travel memoir.

In February I decided to tackle my memoir again and work on my social media platforms. It is always a bit overwhelming getting back into it, especially on a platform like TikTok but the Booktok community has been wonderful!

I have set up my content calendar for posting and am trying my best to stick to it in between getting back into reading.

Here is the big news... 2 weeks ago I posted on Facebook that I was looking for an editor to help with my book. I got a few wonderful referrals as well as an opportunity to submit my book for review to a publisher. Holding thumbs about that interview coming up this week.

It's hard to manage your own interests when you are a business owner, have 2 kids, and a household to run!

But here I am, giving it another shot. If not to publish, then to keep writing and sharing about some awesome books!
